Worst case scenario, you'd have to restart the mission from scratch, but honestly it's likely that you're just in one of those spots where it's not clear where you need to go next. Hopefully someone or myself can give you an idea of where to go so you can get back to ripping and tearing. If you can, take some screenshots with your phone and upload them, specifically of the current area you're trying to figure out, and then another screenshot of your current location on your automap.
Then again, the descent down to Mars was mindbogglingly nuts and caused more than a few head scratches in my case as I tried to figure out just where I needed to go, so it could just be that you're lost. But it sounds like you just might have stumbled onto a bug that hasn't been patched yet.
